This fantastic catalog is a great resource for cultural and architectural historians but also architects, designers, and homeowners looking to renovate period homes. In 1886 M. A. Disbrow & Co., an Iowa Millwork firm, opened a large branch in Omaha, Nebraska, where it remained in operation until the 1950s. It was one of the leading producers of fine woodwork for home and offices in the nation. This 1916 Catalogue has 400 pages, many illustrated, of inventory and prices: doors, sashes, mantels, banisters, columns, window frames and much more! The overall condition is very good. There is a bit of dirt on the cloth cover and the cover lettering is faded. The endpapers are a bit loose but still intact. The binding is tight and pages clean and unmarked.
